20 yrs of almost every diet you can think of and i've done it. Yes, I lost weight and then put on much more. Well, I have had this disc for some months now, for the first month I used it about 2 or 3 times aweek and got to say its brilliant.

Although I have only lost a stone at present, its more about how I've lost it. Disc is in 2 parts, and you do eventually do things he tells you to do but without realising to make the necessary changes to succeed. I now (more recently) swim 4 times a week, only buy FRESH VEG no process food but more IMPORTANT of all I like who and what I am. I don't eat til I'm bloated anymore and eat only when hungry and now feel that food just keeps me alive instead of being obsessed with food (but still enjoying food).

I will say that after the first couple of weeks you look back and notice little changes happening to your lifestyle, good changes. I know I will continue to lose weight now but in a happier, relaxed and healthier way from now on. JUST WISHED I HAD THIS MANY YEARS AGO.

After trying every diet under the sun for the last ten years of my life I have finally found something that really works. I have never had great willpower, if any, when it comes to dieting and have usually lasted 2 weeks at the most on any diet. This is different! It is like having someone there to encourage you and to keep you going any time of day or night you need it. I am an emotional eater and I eat when I'm happy, sad or bored and I'm addicted to food. After the first 2 days I stopped thinking about food all the time. Normally I scoff my food down without taking much notice of it, after 2 days and listening to the cd once on each of those days I noticed I was taking much longer to eat my food and the taste was much better. My taste buds suddenly woke up!I now look forward to eating food rather than feeling guilty about it and I know if I only eat when I am hungry I will find much more satisfaction in food.I would recommend this to anyone who needs help to get out of their emotional eating cycle of guilt.Listen to the CD every day without fail, put aside the time and you will find yourself more relaxed about everything to do with food.It is also helpful to write everything you do from the CD in a daily journal. It just helps to remind you of what you are achieving every day.

Some people find Paul McKenna a bit creepy. He's always telling us what to eat, how to feel, how to be more confident etc. but he's no oil painting himself ('I can grow your hair back' should be his next CD). I'm also a little wary, having fallen foul of his apple/onion trick at one of his stage shows. However this CD shows that he's up there with the best of them. I have a fairly unusual job - I'm a cheese sniffer - and one of the big problems in my game is the swallow. Ask the man in the street about cheese sniffing and he'll tell you that the sniff is everything. Rubbish. There's texture (the squeeze), creaminess, sourness and fruitiness for starters. Not to mention whether or not a cheese has decent legs and good feet. Unlike wine tasters, the professional cheese sniffer has to swallow - the throat glide and final settlement being the two other characteristics on which a cheese can be marked. Which brings me to Paul McKenna. I'm sniffing and eating cheese for the best part of each working day and, with the exception of some strains of bran cheese, it's a saturated fat hell. Most of us are pretty sturdy to say the least and it's difficult to do anything about it without leaving cheese altogether. However McKenna's CD has given me the boot up the archie I need to get out and do some exercise. I know that if I don't take control I'll be a big fat pudding for the rest of my natural, so it's up to me to grab a healthy lifestyle by the lapels. I've had a cold for the best part of a week and that has knocked me off the sniff shift, but I've also been taking the dog out more and have lost 7 lbs. The big test for me is when I go back on the sniff and swallow treadmill. It won't be easy, but I'll keep doing the CD stuff and am determined to keep the weight off. Cheers Paul.

Well the problem is I am not a patient, all practising, focused person and I don't have a very good imagination. Hence it did not work for me. I was bored with it the second day I bought the item.
If you are the opposite of what I am it might work for you because it requires you to imagine yourself slim day in and day out, plus remember all that "naturally slim people advice". He speaks so fast giving you the advice, I found myself finding it difficult to take all the information in and at the same time focus and relax and imagine my slim self. I think the real issue here is that if you are eating because you have emotional problems, this will not help you as you need to sort those issues out. The "powerful mind script" in the second part was a bit strange because as far as I know the mind does not understand suggestions in past or future tense and all suggestions should be in present. So I am not so sure about his technique either.
The truth behind hypnosis success is to practise, practise and more practise with your sugesstions. You might not succeed for days or weeks or perhaps never. This idea certainly puts me off as I want instant success and I want it now!..

Started less than a week ago and within 1 day i saw a difference in my eating habits and the way i feel about food and myself. Both my family and I have noticed the changes I have effortlessly made to my routine and (bad) habits.

Right now i dont care if i lose weight quickly, slowly or even not at all. I am a skeptic turned convert.

The 'it's all mumbo jumbo' looks and comments from others can be off-putting but ignore them and give this a try
